The Heuvelton School Food Pantry and the Heuvelton Teachers’ Association Backpack Program are part of a regional partnership, working together to make sure that none of our neighbors need to worry about where their next meal will come from. Both groups benefit from the Food Bank of Central New York, which serves Central New York, the North Country, and the Mohawk Valley, where 1 in 8 people are facing food insecurity.
The Heuvelton School Food Pantry and the Heuvelton Teachers’ Association Backpack Program collectively team up to promote food security in the community. Enrolling in both programs helps provide food at lower costs, which means helping more families.
The Heuvelton School Food Pantry is open on the fourth Thursday of each month from 3:30-5:00 p.m., with the exception of school breaks, or by appointment. Appointments may be scheduled by calling the District Office at 315-344-2414 x28891.
