On Tuesday, May 17, the Heuvelton Central School District community approved the district’s 2022-23 budget proposal of $15,446,307 with 69 voting yes and 19 voting no, for a total 88 of votes.
Board of Education candidates elected are Andrew Martin, receiving a total of 78 votes, Christopher Riordan, receiving a total of 75 votes, and Jacqueline Bill, receiving a total of 77 votes. The two highest vote getters (Andrew Martin and Jacqueline Bill) have been elected to serve five-year terms, and the third highest vote getter (Christopher Riordan) has been elected to serve a two-year term.
